#2: Got the trend signal..red to sell and in off of price action looking for a few...got them and I was busy doing a few other things but I see that there was some entries later on that paid nicely too..ah well that's a wrap on 2009...see you all in the new year

#1

#1: Better than expected unemployment claims out of the U.S. mean that the eu is in sell-off mode...got a quick yellow bounce here, the blue line is the stop loss area, a break of this support and we're out and looking for the next one...managed to hang in there by a thread and was paid in the end

Happy Holidays

Trading has not been very frequent this holiday season. Thin markets as well as the fact that I've been working on other projects have meant that I won't be back to daily updates until the new year. Hopefully the markets will pick back up to normal movements at that time but for the next few days, hopefully everyone enjoys their holidays...

#3: price pushing up again...got the yellow signal and this time waited for price action under the tma...in at 91.7 and stalled but then a pop down to exit at 88.1..bit of a choppy market rite now

#1+2

#1: price is pushing up this morning...had yellow for a while and for the last couple days the 75 area has been good for bounces...i jumped in early here before price action gave the entry...and got burnt in 75 out 80...the correct entry was a bit later up around 82 as price stalled and got under tma

#2: waited as the euro continued it's massive push up...saw price stalling a bit above 90 and this time waited on price action to start moving lower..hopped in 88 and out 83 to make back the loss...b/e on the day

#2: not many solid setups since earlier, but after the news releases we started down...got a crazy push and i timed the bounce off price action...tma for confirmation and in for a few pips profit

#1

#1: and its party time..got a push down to the 65 area which has formed support over the last day or so, so i hopped in off the yellow signal and out for a couple..very quick trade

#1: expecting a quieter week due to holidays etc. there have been a few trades already that i missed but in here on the expected bounce off the yellow...out as price stalled and didnt look like it would continue up...lost a couple

#2: still looking for the bounce, and it came a little lower, this time let price action take me in at around 13 and got the bounce out at 16...made back the loss and then some, should have held for some more..

#2: got the home-run trade finally haven't had one of these in a bit...as i stated before, downtrend has developed so looking for pullbacks to short...got this red to short signal and hopped in, gave it a little room and targetted a bit more than normal...sure enough the reward came after another pullback we headed back down in the direction of the trend..15pips

fridayy #1

#1: up earlier than normal today...thought it would be a slower market at this hour, so jumped in a buy off a yellow signal..never really looked like it wanted to jump and sure enough drifted away from me..exited as it broke and sure enough we are now in a downtrend intraday

#5

#5: we're moving down pretty hard now, euro below 1.4700...there was a previous strong bounce at the 91 area, i entered a bit late at 94 and was able to get out on a spike up to 97..when the euro is pushing hard in one direction, it's important not to try and jump in and hope for a reversal but instead pick out key areas where it could bounce...here the key area was a previous support level earlier in the day

#4

#4: same trade as always...the yellow signals have been designed and tweaked to spot small or larger reversals in price...as u can see i grabbed a couple off the first yellow signal, did not take the second however it also gave some pips

#3

#3: the euro has been moving very choppy today...in off the yellow signal again wait for price action to get u in the trade...above the tma and i'm in a buy and out as it pushes in my direction for a couple

#1+2

#1: Had a nice push down earlier so im looking to jump in shorts...the retrace came and was a bit aggressive, but waited on the signal and in off the step-down below tma..exit as it made the push down

#2: moving higher but overall still looking short...yellow signal and in after a real hard push up..price action gets me in the trade and i exit as we move back down for some pips

#6: 23 is the low of the session previously so expecting a bounce at this level...pushed down and im in on the first yellow, broker filled me at 24.6...gave it a little time and after another yellow at the same area we get the price action moving up...got out at the next h-line and although price moved up nicely even further, i'll take the 6 nice one jimbo

#5

#5: A little later in the session and we're moving back down...dow jones is off pretty big anyway this was a jump in on my usual setup however when price is pushing in one direction with momentum, it's usually not wise to take every signal but rather the ones at key areas..think i saw 1 pip profit before momentum continued down and i got out trying to keep the loss small at -3

#2,3+4

#2: After the push down, I'm looking for shorts on a retrace or pullback...price moved bak up and the first red on the rammy throw came...let price action take me in for a short under the tma at 48 and out on the push downwards at 43..

#3: same trade again price moving up but overall direction is down...rammy throw rolls red saying look for a short in this area...price pushed up a bit more and once again, im waiting for price action to step down below the tma...got the short at 55 and out 52

#4: haven't gotten a good push down yet instead price is still back up and i get another red rammy throw...im in off of price action again my fill was 57.3 and out at 48.5 sweet now we're rollin..

Had a few more trades yesterday in the U.S. session, basically a flat day for me tho and was busy doing a few other things as there was work being done on the house..back in action today so here goes...

#1: price pushing down and i am expecting a bounce around the 50 area....got yellow so i jumped in at 49 however didnt wait for the price action to step up above the tma...we pushed down some more and then got the step up a little lower...i held but then closed the trade as it looked like we were gonna continue down...out at 43 time to focus a bit more..

London #1

#1: up early to trade the opening of the london session and the sell-off is continuing...the euro is just tanking so managed to pick this bounce on the push thru 1.4800...got yellow and waited or price action back up..in 94 and out 98 not a bad first trade of the week

#4+5

#4: still looking for short signals as trend is down...price moved back up and had the signals going off..i waited for the step below tma and in..but price just stalled and then started pushing back up..still looking down but have to stick to my rules so im out with 3 pips lost

#5: another step below tma still on the same yellow signal and its definitely looking short so i hopped back in short 81...this time we got the push down i was looking for and im out 76 with 5 pips..in hindsight i could have held the first trade but there is always the chance that price will keep pushing against me o well..

#2+3

#2: i actually got a yellow signal for a split second, however its not visible on the chart bcoz this chart is zoomed out..once again, in as price steps above the tma and out for a couple

#3: euro has pushed down alot so looking for retrace then shorts with the trend...got the signal and waited for price action to get me in the trade..in and out for a smooth few pips it went on to give plenty more rite now eu down at 1.5070

#1

#1: news released on unemployment claims in the u.s...interest rate out as well on the euro and its unchanged...we got a spike down after the news and i waited and took my usual signal, was expecting a bounce up and it ended up going a long way back up...yellow and above the tma..grabbed 5pips

Asia #1

Around this evening for a bit of the Asian market trading...Tokyo has just opened and got a nice push up on the euro..got the yellow signal meaning I'm looking for a quick short, in as price action gets below the tma, and out for a couple of pips profit..

#10

#10: Bit later in the session the market tends to range a bit more so yellow signals are very accurate...got in on this one and it hopped in my direction for a quick 6..went from -13 to +15 in one session think i might call it a day...imagine if i had stuck to my rules that first trade....back in action tomorrow...

#7, 8+9

#7: We moved back up slightly, I'm still looking for price to move lower so got another red rammy throw signal and took it, once again under the tma and in 61, exited at 54 with 6 pips same trade as before and I'm finally positive for the session (+4pips)

#8: Again the euro pushes up slightly and i get a red rammy throw signal going off...price still looks lower to at least the daily pivot at 53 area, so i entered 65 thinking a break higher and im out with a small loss otherwise i could be paid nicely to at least the daily pivot..same entry as always under the tma and im in and a few mins i exited just above the daily pivot for 10 pips..it went on for more o well

#9: got yellow looking for a bounce, jumped in long but price pushed lower...tight s/l means i was out with -5

#5+6

#5: Price pushing down now and I'm in a buy on a yellow signal, got the price action I like as it stepped up above the tma..in at 60 and out 63...looks like it still wants to head lower...

#6: price moved a bit lower and then started to retrace a bit...so i'm looking for shorts as the push down was hard, plus the dow is now flirting with negative territory..didnt jump the gun and waited for my rammy throw to give a short signal..ended up getting yellow on both and then waited for price to get under the tma..in and out for 5 pips...still looking short

#3+4

#3: Got the yellow signal as price is now pushing upwards..dow jones up slightly and I waited for my usual setup, price step down below tma and im in..it gave maybe a pip and then pushed back up and i exited with a small loss (-2 pips)...the key to these bounce/pullback trades against the current intrasecond trend is to cut them real quick if they go against u as can get a better entry later..

#4: Got in again on the same setup but a little higher up and this was the well-timed entry as price continued down, grabbed 3 pips...still negative on the day -10 pips so far..

#1+2

#1: Another day another dollar, or thats the plan anyway haha...at the tradedesk for over an hour before any good movement happened...even U.S. employment data couldnt move things much, anyway we eventually saw a nice push down, and I waited till price started retracing before deciding to try hopping in a short...no real indication to enter (no rammy throw signal or yellow signal) but I hopped in and got burnt...-13 pips to start the day when will i learn not to trade on instinct? silly trade anyway looks like i'm in for a long day...

#2: Price eventually topped out on the retrace and started back down, I got in a quick short for a couple pips...the correct entry on the previous trade can be seen as the rammy throw gave a yellow signal..had I entered there and held a bit I would have been paid nicely...just goes to show, trust ur indicators ryan!

#3

#3 sure enough eventually price made the push to the 1.51 area...these whole numbers tend to be strong psychological areas for a bounce so i hopped in after the yellow signal as price action showed it was about to bounce back down...exited with a few all in all a choppier day with no clear pullbacks or continuations

#2

#2 didn't take this trade off an indicator, however price had just made a nice push upwards..waited and entered a long expecting price to retest the 1.5100 area...got a little spike up and was expecting it to continue however it started sliding and i exited with a tight s/l in place

#1

#1 tuesday morning and the euro has pushed up nicely overnite..expecting more of the uptrend as the dow jones futures are pointing to a higher opening..hopped in on this yellow signal, same as always for the ride up a couple of pips..
