Had a couple winners and a loser early on, all of about 2 pips or so, then we got into a nice downtrend on the euro...been testing a few ideas with a fellow trader, anyway waited for the indis to line up and the retrace to peak out and caught the continuation of the sell-off that followed...my home-run trade for the day of over 20pips...now time for the weekend

#3
The euro has been pushing down all afternoon...expected quite a few buy orders around the 1.4700 level, so when it popped below and gave a yellow signal, waited for price to get above the tma and entered the long...relatively easy pips as it made a nice recovery bounce and i took my 6 pips off the table (97 to 03)...nice way to end the day..

Did some light trading yesterday, but didn't have time to save and post the screenshots...just sitting down to trade today and almost immediately there was a nice gj setup for a short...although im focussing on the euro, i still have a couple gj charts open and look for maybe one trade a day on that currency pair...here's one for today, classic push down then small pullback followed by a continuation

Quick Friday trade
Sitting at my desk and discussing some stuff with one of my fellow traders and I saw price pop down on the Euro...got the yellow signal so waited for price to stall, and this came just above the 76.4 fibonacci level so i hopped in for a couple pips...wasn't planning on trading today but im here so might as well..
Friday
Decided to take a break from trading today...going out to enjoy the great weather here and will be back in action on sunday night/monday morning..

Wed #2
Price touched 1.50 again and dropped...I have a feeling it'll head back up so waited for the indis to give me a buy signal back around the 81 area where it reversed on the last retrace...got in at 82 and out on the spike up to 87...it dropped back down again then went over 90 so i could have re-entered but im fine with 5 points on this trade..
Wed.
Only a couple small trades yesterday so didnt bother to post the screenshots for them....today the Euro is really moving..I missed one of my high probability setups, when it touched the 1.50 area (always nice bounces at whole numbers)...hopped in a long on the retrace...my entry was early as the safer buy was on the yellow..held thru it all as we're in a strong uptrend, and as I type this price has just crossed 1.50 again...should have held o well more to come

First trade of the week

Thursday
After no trades yesterday due to lack of clear entries, I am at my tradedesk ready for a fruitful thurs...first thing to note is how much the GJ ran up in the Asian and European markets overnite..nevertheless, as the old saying goes, trade what u see not what u think, and although I was expecting a retrace it continued on up, trending nicely and giving some solid entries...here's my two trades so far this morning...more than enough pips already and i've only been trading for half an hour..we'll see what the rest of the day brings..

Fridayyy
Got a nice setup on the euro after missing one a little earlier...price pulled up to the phil nell zone and touched the 38.2 fibonacci level also..the yellow on the cci was the confirmation for a nice short down...this is the style of scalping on the euro that i traded for a while b4 i took a look at the gj..

Quick Thursday trades
Have been struggling to find entries on the GJ as it's been pretty erratic at times and then extremely slow at others...today was following the Euro and took a couple bounce trades off the 1.48 level for some decent points...the Euro tends to bounce once or twice around whole numbers before passing through them, so being patient and capitalizing means quick points and done in 10 mins..

Tuesday U.S...
A real nice sell-off in the U.S. session as the G/J headed on down to 141...I hopped in for 4 pips which puts me on 12 for the day, not bad at all..Right now price just floating around 141.50 - been watching as alot of stuff has happened today (U.S. markets rallying, USD weakening, gold breaking out etc)..

Tuesday Asian session
Yesterday I watched a bit of the Asian session and it moved quite well, so I thought I'd follow things again today in the hopes of taking a trade or two..almost got caught going long but was patient enough to wait for a good setup, and my patience was rewarded a bit later on the short side..pretty straight forward 8 pips profit...here's the trade on a c27 Cyrox chart
A Slow Monday...
Was around my tradedesk for most of the day today, however the markets were moving pretty slowly..I had a couple of trades for small gains of a pip here and there but nothing major..hoping things pick up for the rest of the week..on a sidenote, just finished reading 'Rule #1' by Phil Town again - an excellent read for anyone looking to invest a bit of money in the stock market..

Friday's news trade
Unemployment rate and Non-Farm Employment change were released and the market spiked down 100 pips immediately...then proceeded to retrace almost as fast, but I was patient and hopped in once price made a move back down for a few pips..grabbed 7 in total and I'm looking to see where things lead as the stock markets open up..
